Cotton fabric is used for creating of the kurta, cotton is an optimum choice of fabric for chikan kadhai and it is also preferred for the climate here. ‘Bakhiya’, ‘Phanda’ and ‘Keel Kangan’ stitches created with Pink and White cotton threads are used for shaping in the chikan embroidery. The front of the kurta is abundantly embroidered, motifs like flowers, mangoes and leaves are gorgeously fashioned on front.
