Lucknow Chikan' attracts G20 state delegates to shop in Hazratganj- ADA Chikan

The city of Nawabs prepares to host the state guests from across all the world as part of this Summit!

G20 is an economic cooperation formed in 1999 with twenty countries who are members, who hold more than 75% of global trade, constitute of 80% of the world’s GDP, and more than 60% of the planet’s population. Each of these countries gets a chance to host the G20 summit in their homeland to share discussions about global financial stability.

In 2023, the G20 Summit was hosted in India, with events spanning 27 cities. One of them brings Lucknow, the city of Nawabs.

Lucknow hosted the Summit meets between 13-15th February 2023 where the state guests were spotted shopping for the local craft of Lucknow Chikan in Hazratganj, ADA Designer Chikan Studio

It was our honor and pleasure to host India's guests and share information and stories of the intricate and unique craft of Lucknow Chikankari with them. We shared with them the tedious processes that go behind creating this handicraft (Video attached here: Facebook and YouTube and shared Chikankari Shirts, Dupatta Stoles, and Potlis to take back with them as souvenirs to remember their impactful trip with back in their homeland.
